- It stands out for its high resistance to temperatures up to 1,050 °C and its strong adhesive power
- It is resistant to the temperature changes created in fireplaces without cracking, while it quickly acquires strength
- D-8 mortar is ideal for building and grouting firebricks in fireplaces, ovens, grills, chimneys, etc.
- It is suitable for the restoration of worn joints, the filling of cracks (a common occurrence) as well as for the welding of detached firebricks
