General characteristics
- Flexible, spreadable, white mortar mixed with water only, offering long-lasting waterproofing
- Consists of high quality cement, selected quartz aggregates, acrylic water repellent and elastomeric resins
- HYDROSTOP ROOF is an innovative roof sealant that is easily applied by roller or trowel, without primer, on well-wetted stable surfaces
- It is permeable to water vapor without being water permeable, ensuring a constant coefficient of thermal conductivity (λ) of the roof insulation
- It is mainly used for the waterproofing of roofs on properly prepared surfaces in 2-3 layers of 1 mm thickness, ensuring protection and resistance over time
- It also waterproofs basements before they are filled with earth, while it is also suitable for their internal subsequent waterproofing, after the plaster has been removed to the entire height that shows moisture
- Ideal for waterproofing surfaces that are to be coated and likely to show capillary cracks from contraction and expansion and vibrations, such as balconies, above-ground tanks, swimming pools, etc.
- It is also recommended for sealing surfaces before gluing tiles
