Top quality polyurethane alkyd varnish suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is applied to all wooden surfaces, such as windows, doors, wardrobes, etc., as well as to metal surfaces. It has excellent whiteness, coverage and great elasticity. It is easy to apply, spreads evenly, without leaving streaks and joints, offering a wonderful finish. It presents excellent resistance to the passage of time, frequent washing and yellowing.

Preparation:
The surfaces must be clean and dry, free of oil or rust and sanded. Wooden surfaces, after appropriate pre-treatment (treatment with Diaxyl Extra wood preservative, filling, spatulating with Acrylic Putty and sanding), are primed with Velatura. Then, the surface is rubbed with suitable sandpaper and the dust is removed. Metal surfaces are primed with anti-rust primer (Anti-Rust Primer, Minio or Metal Primer). Shiny metal surfaces (galvanized, aluminum, etc.) are primed with Glossy Surface Primer or Wash Primer.
Application:
The product is stirred well before use. It is applied in two coats with a roller or brush diluted 2% with Brush Thinner T 300 or an airless spray gun diluted 2% with Gun Thinner T 350. It should not be applied at temperatures below 5°C, above 35°C and/or relative humidity above 80%. The product is dry to the touch in 3-4 hours and can be repainted after 20-24 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). Surfaces painted with Platinum are washed after 30 days from painting. Rollers, brushes and stains on the floor are cleaned with Brush Thinner T 300 and then with soap or detergent. Guns are cleaned with Gun Thinner T 350.
