Polyurethane acrylic ecological water-based varnish suitable for interior and exterior surfaces made of wood, metal, plaster, glass, PVC, aluminum, galvanized, etc. It is certified according to the criteria of the EU Ecolabelling Council, according to the EN 71-3 standard for the non-migration of heavy metals from children's toys and objects. It is easy to apply, spreads evenly, without leaving streaks and joints. It has excellent whiteness, high hiding power, excellent resistance to frequent washing and excellent adhesion even on surfaces painted with alkyd paint (oil paint). It is low odor during application because it does not contain ammonia or other hazardous substances, such as aromatic hydrocarbons, free formaldehyde, heavy metals or alkylphenol ethoxylate compounds.

Preparation:
The surfaces must be clean and dry, free of oil or rust and sanded. Wooden surfaces, after appropriate pre-treatment (treatment with Diaxyl Water-based wood preservative, filling, spatulating with Acrilic Putty and sanding), are primed with Velatura Eco. Then, the surface is rubbed with suitable sandpaper and the dust is removed. New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, plasterboard, etc., as well as spatulated surfaces are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco. Surfaces stained by nicotine, smoke, markers, coffee and other types of stains are primed with Blanco Eco. Metal surfaces are primed with anti-rust primer (Anti-Rust Primer, New Type Mini or Metal Primer). Shiny metal surfaces (galvanized, aluminum, etc.) are primed with Velatura Eco.
Application:
The product is stirred well before use. It is applied in two coats with a roller or brush diluted 5-10% with water or an airless spray gun diluted 10-15% with water. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5°C, higher than 35°C and/or relative humidity above 80%. The product is dry to the touch in 1-2 hours and can be repainted after 6-8 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). After applying the paint, seal the container tightly and store it at temperatures between 5°C and 38°C for future use. Surfaces painted with Aquavit PU Eco are washed using a soft sponge with water and in case of persistent stains with a mild, colorless detergent, after at least three weeks have passed since their painting. Tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and, if necessary, with soap or detergent.
