High quality plastic ecological paint for interior use. Certified according to the criteria of the EU Ecolabelling Council. It has a very low odour during and after application. It offers high coverage, unbeatable performance, excellent whiteness and excellent resistance to frequent washing (Class 1, EN 13300/ISO 11998). Almost zero VOCs. It contributes to better air quality and hygiene of indoor spaces, due to very low emissions. Preparation:
The surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free of dust, oil or any loose materials. On already painted surfaces without problems and loose spots, no special preparation is required and Vitex Eco is applied directly. Acrylic Putty or Visto is used for filling holes and filling any cracks. Old hydro-colored surfaces (with lime or glue) are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco. New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, bricks, plasterboard, etc., as well as spatulated surfaces are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco. Surfaces stained by nicotine, smoke, markers, coffee and other types of stains are primed with Blanco Eco. For maximum coverage in dark and intense (such as blue, red and yellow) final shades on the surfaces to be painted, it is recommended to first apply PreColor Primer colored using the Vitex Coloring coloring system depending on the final shade.
Application:
The product is stirred well before use. It is applied in two coats with a roller, brush or airless spray gun and diluted up to 10% with water. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5°C, higher than 35°C and/or relative humidity above 80%. The product is dry to the touch in 30-60 minutes and can be repainted after 3-4 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). After applying the paint, seal the container tightly and store it at temperatures between 5°C and 38°C for future use. Surfaces painted with Vitex Eco are washed using a soft sponge with water and in case of persistent stains with a mild, colorless detergent, after at least three weeks have passed since their painting.
Tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and, if necessary, soap or detergent. Do not empty washing liquids into the aquifer.
