Ecological white, matt water-based primer based on modified new technology resins. It is certified according to the criteria of the European Union Eco-Labeling Council. It is suitable for interior and exterior surfaces, such as wood, glass, hard PVC, aluminum, galvanized and old painted surfaces. Due to its special composition, it covers and fills the surface effectively, offering excellent adhesion. It is odorless, spreads evenly without leaving streaks and joints and is easy to rub. It can be repainted with water-based paint as well as with Vitex solvent-based paints. It is certified with Indoor Air Comfort GOLD, the most stringent global indoor emissions assessment system.

Preparation:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free of dust, oil or any loose materials. On new wooden surfaces, knots are removed and impregnated with Diaxyl Extra Water preservative. Acrylic Putty is used to fill holes and fill any cracks. Sand the surface well and make sure it is completely dry before priming.
Application:
The product is stirred well before use. It is applied in one or two coats with a roller, brush diluted 5-10% with water or airless spray gun diluted 10-15% with water. In case of application of dark shades of the final color, you can initially prime the surface with Velatura Eco as is or slightly tinted in the tone of the desired final shade, through the Vitex Coloring Shade Creation System. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5οC, higher than 35οC and/or relative humidity above 80%.
The product is dry to the touch in 30-60 minutes and can be repainted after 6-8 hours. Once completely dry, sand with suitable sandpaper, remove dust and apply Vitex water-based or solvent-based varnish. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). After applying the paint, seal the container tightly and store it at temperatures between 5oC and 38oC for future use. Tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and, if necessary, with soap or detergent.
