General characteristics
- Elastic joint mastic, one component, polyurethane base
- It is mechanically resistant, does not get oily and can withstand the sun and snow
- Not affected by fresh or sea water, paintable and effective for sealing joints 6-30mm wide and 3-15mm deep
DUROFLEX-PU is suitable for high-demand elastic seals in a wide range of applications:
- Covering expansion joints in buildings, airport runways, EYDAP cement pipe joints, precast concrete masonry
- Sealing joints in window and door frames, made of aluminium, iron, wood and PVC
- Perimeter waterproofing of buildings at the junctions of external horizontal and vertical surfaces
- Safeguarding of welding and waterproofing during tiling, both in the filling of expansion joints, indoors and outdoors, as well as in the filling of perimeter joints, at the ends of floor tiles with walls or parapets as well as on balconies before covering skirting boards
- Sealing of metal and wooden railings at their points of contact with marble, natural slabs or concrete on roofs, balconies, walls
- Shipbuilding work on any elastic sealing or fastening of polyester to wood, stainless steel or aluminum
