High quality acrylic paint, based on 100% acrylic resins for outdoor use. It offers great coverage, unbeatable performance and excellent resistance to adverse atmospheric conditions. It has very good spreading, gives a smooth matte surface and ensures breathability on the surfaces where it is applied. Acrylan 100% acrylic paint can be used on any type of new or old surface made of plaster, concrete, spatulated surfaces, wood, etc., after appropriate preparation. Acrylan is certified by the University of Athens, Department of Physics, for its properties as a cold paint and is characterized by a high reflectance value (SR), a high emissivity coefficient (ε) and a high solar reflectance index (SRI).

Preparation:
The surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free of dust, oil or any loose materials. Acrylic Putty is used for filling holes and filling any cracks. Old surfaces are primed with Vitosin or Durovit or Acrylan Unco Eco as appropriate. New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, bricks, etc., as well as filled surfaces are primed with Acrylan Unco Eco. For maximum coverage in dark and intense (such as blue, red and yellow) final shades, it is recommended to first apply PreColor Primer colored using the Vitex Coloring coloring system according to the final shade.
Application:
The product is stirred well before use. It is applied in two coats with a roller, brush or airless gun and diluted 0-10% with water. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5°C, higher than 35°C and/or relative humidity above 70% or if there is a risk of rain or frost in the next forty-eight hours. The product is dry to the touch in 30-60 minutes and can be repainted after 3-4 hours. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). Surfaces painted with Acrylan are washed using a soft sponge with water and in case of persistent stains with a mild, colorless detergent, after at least three weeks have passed since their painting. The tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and if necessary with soap or detergent.
